Degree in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Master Degree in Philosophy of Nature and the Environment from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon (2012). He was an FCT doctoral fellow and completed a doctoral thesis in Philosophy of Technology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2019). He is also a member of the Portuguese Society for Environmental Ethics and was a researcher and translator in the Philosophy and Landscape Architecture project (PTDC/FIL-FIL/100565/2008) and researcher in the EyeHEAR project, Qualitative sound maps for visualization of the urban soundscapes (PTDC/ AMB/73207/2006). He is a researcher at CoLABOR in the line of the impact of technologies on work and employment. He has published articles in journals in Portugal and abroad mainly on philosophy and history of technology, virtue ethics, science and technology studies, ethics and environmental aesthetics.
